I have just figured something out in the server admin app that allows you to modify the services i will upload the images of this after i finnish uploading the rest of the images. this will take some time.

I watched a discovery channel show a few years ago where I think Spain was selling phones with a chip in them to act as a bus pass.
I would really like to see something like the OP become main stream. I like the MasterCard� PayPass� idea but you still need to take out a card and deal with your wallet; but if it was as easy as waving a phone and a pin code, I'd love it.

that's exactly what i was wondering about! i don't know if EU regulations apply to the ipad, but they certainly do apply to the iphone. and i think, apple has to include a miniUSB port (standardized charger) to the iphone 5 if they want to sell it here in europe. a simply dock connector just won't do.

London's congestion charge was effective in reducing gridlock there.

The mayor rolled it back from the central/western areas recently and long-term impact studies seem a little scarce in terms of car driver numbers. The carrot was also introducing cheaper bus and tube fares by means of the Oyster Card, a card with an RFID chip in it to speed passenger boarding with pre-paid tickets.
Using a bus in the UK, or London at least, doesn't quite have the same stigma it seems to have with some people in the US... although the distances involved are probably shorter than perhaps the average US commute.

Imagine the following. You're Apple's ad agency, and you've been hired by the Reds, the local sports team. wtf? 4 years ago my brother (parents) had to pay $2000 for his "tablet PC" from HP in highschool. This works out to what, $470 a piece? Give me a break.

Cons - smaller networks wouldn't survive; most niche networks would become less focused in order to appeal to a wider demographic; diversity in program would be jeopardized.

Where have you installed OpenCV and wxWidgets? Are they frameworks or dylib libraries? Have you added the framework or dylib to the Link Binary with Libraries build phase of your target? If they're dylibs, have you additionally added the path(s) to the header files to the Header Search Paths build setting of your target?
The OpenCV is a framework, the wxWidgets is not a framework, atleast I guess it is a dylib (if there is no other options for libraries then framework and dylib).

Why Hong Kong? I live in The Netherlands and got a 120Mbit/s download.
If the server is willing, I can download at 14MByte/s max.

I'm not a huge fan of Time Warner, but hey, there's not much they can do here. It's actually a great idea, allowing channels to be watched from any screen so long as you have a subscription...
The fact that some networks are against this is mind boggling.... why on earth would you want to decrease potential viewership when your revenue is based on increasing viewership?

I've got a "Cosmos Black" 3DS on preorder.
Somehow managed to bust the cartridge slot on my XL, sadly (cartridges fall out/move around). I thought, rather than paying �140-170 for a new XL (would've had a yellow one), I'll use some left over gift vouchers, trade the XL in (as damaged, obviously), so it now works out that I'm getting a 3DS for just over �90. Can't complain :)
I'm not too bothered about the auto-stereoscopy "3D" feature to be honest (the demo unit in Game gave me a headache after about 10 minutes anyway, thanks to my illnesses :rolleyes: ), but I do like the look of the augmented reality stuff, so I'm a little excited! Plus it means I can play Pok�mon again! :o

Hmm... I've held off on buying both a new phone and a new iPod for a while now, assuming that I'd want whatever phone Apple eventually comes out with, but the mention of battery life issues concerns me. If the battery goes dead on my iPod, no big deal, I don't listen to music until I charge it again. But if the battery goes dead on my phone, I could miss an important call. And if I have to monitor how much music I listen to to ensure that I can still receive calls, that might be a problem. Ideally, they could address this concern by having some software that told you well in advance that if you stop listening to music now, you still have so much time left on your phone.
No offense, but how many cell phone calls are really that important? None, given all the ones I overhear on a daily basis. :D
I could see a nifty little battery app on an iPod/iPhone device. Turn off music player when battery reaches x% or something like that.

As far as Nikon goes: The reason was the F- Mount.. High speed crop is a byproduct. the D700 does not have it and some other don't either but they all MOUNT DX lenses in crop mode AND full frame mode.
The term high speed crop was specific to the D2X. If you reduced the capture area to around 5Mpx, the frame rate increased from 4-5 FPS to 8 FPS. All of the Nikon FX bodies have a setting on the Image Setting menu called Image Area that governs whether the body automatically crops an image if it detects that a DX lens is mounted to the camera.
The only DX lens I had was the 17-55 and I sold it a few years ago when I replaced it with the 14-24 and 24-70.

I don't actually know why Apple are bothering. MS Office is the best program on my Mac. It does everything I could possibly want.. and more.
