A team of UC Berkeley physicists and statisticians that set out to challenge the scientific consensus on global warming is finding that its data-crunching effort is producing results nearly identical to those underlying the prevailing view.
The Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature project was launched by physics professor Richard Muller, a longtime critic of government-led climate studies, to address what he called "the legitimate concerns" of skeptics who believe that global warming is exaggerated.
But Muller unexpectedly told a congressional hearing last week that the work of the three principal groups that have analyzed the temperature trends underlying climate science is "excellent.... We see a global warming trend that is very similar to that previously reported by the other groups."
The hearing was called by GOP leaders of the House Science & Technology committee, who have expressed doubts about the integrity of climate science. It was one of several inquiries in recent weeks as the Environmental Protection Agency's efforts to curb planet-heating emissions from industrial plants and motor vehicles have come under strenuous attack in Congress. LA Times (http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-climate-berkeley-20110404,0,772697.story)
Granted, this is based on 2% of the 1.6 Billion measurements they are going to analyze, but it's an interesting and unexpected admission from the skeptics assigned this task. Science really doesn't care about your politics no matter how much your politics cares about science.

I saw a girl in an apple store pick her butt, then her nose, then pick up an iPad and google butt secks positions. It was kind of hot actually.
It's posted on the interwebs so it must be true! Shocked!

See Apple's tutorial, "Your First iOS Application" (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/iPhone/Conceptual/iPhone101/Articles/00_Introduction.html). It teaches you to do almost exactly what you're asking for.

Heres a video of one coming through Lee County, NC
Yes, I was listening to WDAV, Davidson, when the National Emergency Signal came on. Then I heard that one had touched down.
Very nasty.

All these posts and not one mentions MacBreak Weekly
On many of the old episodes ( from the beginning up to about 1.5 years ago) he was a regular panelist. I think that's a much easier way to understand a little more about what he does (context, if you will) and his personality.
That said, he is an acquired taste! :p
Yeah, I was just going to mention he used to appear on MBW a lot. Now the only regular panelist other than Leo (obviously, he's the host!) is Andy.

These are a great value if you can snag them with a 50% coupon. I own them and have no complaints for the price.
Yep, that's how I got mine! Wouldn't pay full price but I have been quite happy with them.

It works great. The first preview raped my air, but this second one seems to use system resources much much better.
If you have any worries about it, developer preview 2 runs great and much better than 1 if you had tried it out.
Right now I have Safari open and nothing else, system seems to idle just about where SL did.
