I thought all phones sold in Italy had to be network free (unlocked) by law - a quick google may help, otherwise no better way to answer your question that to drop in another operators sim.

Memory fart, I'm retired, and happy to be so. :D
I currently work with three not-for-profits, but the CCS is the only one I can claim to offer any hope to others, as a cancer survivour myself.
Had some laughs today, with a new-to-me passenger, on her 2nd treatment day.
We share a diagnosis. :)
Oops!?! my bad. For some reason I was thinking your volunteer work as a driver was a regular job type of thing. Either way it's so cool that you do that. People facing cancer need hope. My cousin just go the word from MD Anderson that they feel his colon cancer is at stage 4. Scary stuff. :(

Why does the BB software require rebooting the darn thing? I tried installing without rebooting but it won't work. Can't say i didn't see this coming. I won't be rebooting until the next OS X update, guess my BB can wait till then.
Uhm... You should reboot every couple days anyway... are you serious? If you are this is such fail.

OK, am I the only one here that is getting the feeling that we won't even be able to play as our Shepard from prior games, but instead this will be Mass Effect: Black Ops and we'll be stuck as a soldier-nobody on Earth?
So no more exploring the Galaxy and even less RPG elements :(
Anyways, regardless I'll buy this game, as the first ME is one of my favorites this decade. The second one was also really good, but I was unable to finish it until after I found a hack that let me split that asinine-single-action button into individual key-actions and re-enabled crouching.

Great. I ordered the computer on the 26th with the X850XT. Hopefully I wont experience any problems. It's nice to know that they will take care of the issue in a timely fashion though if any arise.
Thanks for the heads up, I'll keep a look out for artifacts.

Don't worry about it. By the way, I have a 6800 Ultra and it creates screen artifacts when I use any program in Microsoft Office.

I found one of my magsafe chargers flashing green/orange while NOT plugged into the computer - just hanging in the breeze. It was plugged into a wall outlet that was successfully powering a lamp with CFL. What the deuce?

I have a HTC 8525 quadband smartphone pda in Mint condition for sale for AT&T/Cingular. It was used gently for about a year and had an invisible shield on the screen during it's use and also was in a Krussell leather carrying case that it comes with. It comes in the original box with all original materials (manuals, activesync, wall charger, etc.). The only thing you'll need to add is a SIM card. This phone is not unlocked, but it can be done for about $5-$10 on ebay.
I must sell this week so if you're interested please let me know ASAP.
Asking $225. I accept payments via Paypal.
I've bought and sold items on macrumors and have 100+ positive ebay feedback as a buyer and seller.
PM me if interested.

Pkgbackup has two options for storing the backup info - your local address book or Dropbox. Dropbox has the advantage of being immune to having Apple tweak the data format of the address book entries which can corrupt your backup data.

Look into the Cylinder of Destiny/Golden Triangle.
In this scenario you use AD for authentication and OD for computer/user management. This would be the best way to do what you are trying to do.
Alternatively, use AD alone and use something like Casper from JAMF or Absolute Manage.

I feel compelled to respond to this post. I hope you can take this the right way...
I understand and completely respect where you're coming from though I hope you can respect my opinion on this as well. If there's nothing posted from the initial thread designwise then it's very hard to see it as anything but "can you do it for me?" question, there in lies the issue I have.
It not that I hunt down certain threads I mostly visit the design and gaming parts of the forum...
I have commented on many threads where there has been advice asked, with samples or the work added, but lately there seems to be a case of "soliciting free work" through newbies signing up. I can address the question when artwork (or an attempt is made), I can add relevant links, point them to a good tutorial, point them to a good resource, etc.. but not from what I would consider to be a "speciously interpreted" question. I have even helped out people via critique via PM outside threads.
Consider this, without any artwork attached there it could be considered as one thing from a newbie considering how many of these threads have popped up in recent times...

Are you talking about the Griffin Outfit Ice?
I would assume so. It's still silicone, generic or not.
Ah yes, Griffin. It looks nice but no shock protection based on this video

No, it's quite ridiculous in fact.

Thanks for the link. It didn't quite explain to me how Stanford was using MPI for Folding Distributing though.
So has Stanford been treating all the users cpus as a remote processing units and distributing to them as a big collective supercomputer? It seems rather inefficient. I've always thought that they were breaking down the large task into smaller tasks that could be downloaded processed and then transmitted back.
