2 MB!!!!!!!!!
Aside from starting again and re-considering some of your choices, at 2 megs it sounds like your trying to accomplish a bit much. But anyways here some tips:
1)Replace any images you can with Vectors as appose to imported bit maps. You can accomplish quite photorealistic pictures with vectors as shown on Vector Kid (http://www.vectorkid.com/tutorials.html)
2)External flash movies!
Try breaking the sections up into separate .swf files and calling them in externally. That way they'll only load when the user visits that section.
It's what I did here (http://www.jasondorn.com/sept_2004/) and my main swf was only 86kb, which is still high for web and part of the reason I switched from that design(and the fact it was just a bloated site)
But external flash movies can cut waay down on load time.

I have this feeling that for me it would be an iOS 5 feature limited to the iPhone 5 only. Other than that, the other upgrades are pretty slick but I think the iPhone 4 is substantial enough. :D

To me, the best thing about being Canadian is not even thinking about being Canadian. I just live my life and don't even worry about it. I've got a good life and a good job, I have earned everything I want, and if I get sick -- I'll be well taken care of. I won't go bankrupt or lose my savings or my house. The rest of the world consistently ranks Canada as one of the best places to live, period. (Sorry neighbours, but the USA doesn't even make the Top 10.)
And that's a stupid song BTW, if you want true Canadian music listen to The Tragically Hip... or even better, go see them live. I just did.

It depends on which WU you have and the processor. A G4 takes a bit longer then a G5 or an Intel (faster cpu). If you want to check you are folding, look in the activityviewer, there are some processes working, one of them is FahCore_XX.exe . If that is using most of your processorpower, then it is folding! If it is not showing, then it isn't folding

^ $16 for the D-link apple supported one. (26 - 10 rebate). I am in no way affiliated with this company, but I have had great experiences with them. They have low prices and ship very quickly.

I've had a similar set up in the past. I used iPhoto to organize my photos and used it for minor photo editing and using PS Elements for other editing needs. This worked for me for several years. I only recently started using Aperture 3 to manage my photos and still using elements for editing. I think iPhoto is great for basic organizing and editing. I would say to play with it and see how you like it. But I preferred iPhoto over the Adobe organizer that came with elements.

No. The iBook G4 has an IDE interface, while the MacBook Pro is SATA.

I have a question about iTunes on the PB ...
When I insert a music CD, it opens up iTunes and starts playing. However it doesn't seem to label any of the song names. They're all listed as Track 01, Track 02 etc.
In addition, how to copy the tracks from the CD to my music library as MP3 files, not as full-size CD format?

I have tried hundreds of times to get my Ipod touch into DFU mode, however it isn't working. I've even used the exact timers. I have the 3rd gen model (32 gig). I'm currently running Ios 4.1. Therefore i cannot use jailbreakme. So since i can't enter DFU mode i have no way of jailbreaking my device. Is there a computer program that can boot your device into DFU mode for you? if not then i guess im just out of luck.

It's no less safe than leaving any other computer connected to the internet for remote logins.

And thats why most people avoid those auctions
True, you have to sensible about it. I've seen rediculously low priced Buy It Now items with equally rediculously priced shipping. Going out with the intention of bilking the public is bad. But making one extra dollar per sale can go a long way if you're a high volume seller.

I have several images in a folder, I know how to access the folder, I just need to display these images in an IKImageBrowserView, so I guess a better question would be:
How do I display a folder of images in an IKImageBrowserView?
Thanks
You have to put them into the array (NSMutableArray) one at a time. Computers are pretty stupid, they do not understand simple things, we have to tell them step by step what to do.

Hi, i accidently format one part of my HD to exfat, and now can't read it, the thing was, when i formatted it into exFAT, i was able to use it and move my data into my HD, but now, the HD doesn't even appear on my Mac, just wondering if there is a way i can copy all my data without trying to find a compatible windows machine, i do have windows 7 on my mac tho, if it helps.

I like it. A little creepy, pretty cool. Too bad I'm assuming you can't add a couple frames to make it smoother becuase of size reasons, that would make it a better avatar though.

I've got a 5th generation Nano (and a mint 1st gen which still works a treat).
I love the scroll wheel, as it's perfect for operating in your pocket. Also the 5th gen has the video camera and video playback. OK it's not the most amazing video camera, but it's perfectly adequate for YouTube.
Unfortunately Apple are expected to update their products regularly, and the 5th gen was pretty much optimised, so they had to resort to a radical redesign.

I had a problem like this before. A lot of it actually installs and you can move it simply, remove Kazaa and look through Add/Remove programs and see if you see any junk in there.
Sometimes there in there. If that doesn't work... *gets XP disks*

Hi everyone.
I have a friend who needs to do a poster for her studies.
I don't know anyone who is experienced in this sort of thing, but I thought there are many skilled minds lurking around this forum, who might can give us advice, if possible.
I attached a link to the .pub file and if there is anyone who can correct the colour combinations of the different columns, that would be extremely helpful. I wish i could take screenshots, but I'm afraid I can't open .pub files on my mac.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/13695129/poster.pub
Thank you very much!
p.s. Please forgive me if I bump the the threat at a certain point, since I might have posted this at an inconvenient time.
