I just hope they won't give up the space opera theme and go for some boring plot about saving Earth. Given that they said there would be tons of endings based on your decisions from 1 and 2, I'm not too worried. Still though, to have the trailer showing the Reapers hitting Earth...kind of
Speaking about new trailers, anyone watch the recent ones coming out these days? A lot of them seem to be made with real life actors, what's up with that? Not a big fan of the whole blu-ray look to them either. Maybe I'm just a traditionalist, but game trailers should show off a game engine or the studio's CGI ability, not the ability to hire actors to put on costumes and shoot them with a fancy camera.

I dont really know much about monitors so Im not sure if its completely neccessary, just would like to have amazing colours and blacks like the ACD.
As already said here, you don't get "amazing colours and blacks" only because of a LED backlight. You get that from the panel, not the backlight.
So get a decent IPS or VA panel and don't care about the backlight.
The only real benefit of LED is the fact that they are instant on (no warm up required) and don't degrade over time. Other than that, they aren't as good as you might think. Standard white LEDs (which is what you find in 100% of the consumer stuff) don't provide better colours (in fact CCFL is proven to be better) nor blacks as computer displays don't support local dimming in any kind.

However right or wrong that person is regarding that IE statement, it will teach you the basics. Keep reading and then check the web for quirks in the different browsers.
Oh, and stop buying the 'for dummies' books. They are so passe. =8-o

I use Photoshop Elements 2.0. Got it for ~$35 off Ebay. I use it to make wallpapers for cell phones and computer. Very easy to crop and cut, resize, color change, add text, combine photos. 3.0 is out now and is probably better.

My mini has starting constantly doing the pop up where it gives me the option to:
shutdown/restart/ cancel
Do I have a virus on it?
It's starting to behave quite oddly!
thanks for you help.

^^^^^ That's actually a Classical Guitar. The neck does tend to be wider than a regular acoustic guitar, and the strings are nylon instead of metal.
I learned how to play guitar on a classical. That's what was provided by the guitar school and my high school's guitar class.
It's a good guitar to learn on. The neck is so wide that when you switch over to a regular acoustic or an electric guitar, it'll be much easier to play.

I'm confused by your question. Are you talking about a Java IDE? I've never used one that Apple provides, I would assume that it comes as part of the developer tools, but I can't find it so maybe that's not what you're talking about. If you're trying to run a java program you have written navigate to it's folder in terminal and type
java program.java replace program.java with the name of your program.
If you're looking for an IDE I highly recommend Eclipse. There are probably better more Mac like Java IDEs but the one I'm comfortable with is Eclipse.
Actually if any Java programmer around here knows of a great OS X-ified Java IDE I would love to hear about it.

If photographers behaved how some of you guys do, I would quit every single forum...
Q: "Hey guys, took a few shots, looking for some pointers on where to improve..."
A: "!#!#%#!!! Blah blah blah school 10 years undervalued degrading industry blah blah !#%@!!!!! eff off buddy!!!!"
But in crankypant's defense, it is helpful to include an image/example in the Original Post so we actually know that you are not simply "Trying to get free work done".
OP: I would go with citenzens idea of the birds, otherwise I have found that the only good way to "Create" clouds (besides excellent freehand draw/paint skills) is to clone existing clouds and use a combination of brushes and layers to blend them. into the shape you want.

hopefully a few Sn0wBreeze experts will chime in most of us don't use it. My PC os Hackintoshed duel boot. in most cases I prefer to use Mac to jailbreak. I can tell you Sn0wbreeze is not well received. Main reason I'm telling is there might not be the fastest response on this.

Graphite might be nice.
And Orange would be cool.
Also, I'd love to have these in dark colors - a royal blue would be sweet or a forest green.

I have 32GB of RAM in my Mac Pro and I got the RAM from Superbiiz, it was a steal compared to OWC and Apple's prices. It looks like they have the RAM for $137 (http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=D3-13R8GH1&title=Hynix-DDR3-1333-8GB-ECC-REG-Original-Server-Memory) per 8GB stick, so that'd be just shy of $1100 plus tax and shipping.

Could you give me more information on the PC/Mac switchboxes? Are they KVM switches? If so, what connectors/cables do they have. Are they USB or ADB? What about VGA? Thanks!
