What wrong with redsn0w? Why dont you use redsn0w to jailbreak it, it is much more reliable.

I got one more idea for the site arn (if you still read this thread) how about a listing of sites you get the rumors from, or people, who give a lot of rumors, and keep track. for instance "Apple Turns (3/4) stated we should..." or any site who gives the rumor, the (3/4) being the stats, like they've been correct on 3/4 of their rumors that you've had on the page or something, so if we see 14 rumors that never happened from somerumorsite.com, we know not to believe them as much when they're saying g8 powerbooks coming out next week.

WoW, Unreal Tournament, Need for Speed...eh....That's all I've played on the Macbook. The integrated graphics pretty much suck to high heaven, so game playing won't be pretty. Solitaire graphics do kicks ass when you are on a 12 hour shift though :p

So, in the search-a-sketch App;
When they include other biasness, if you circle a small area in, say NY city, 200+ listing will pop up, which you then need to sift though, or youll restrict the search to begin with.
Seems more like a gimmick than really a useful concept.

Windows cannot be booted from external disks easily.
Normally you just backup content, erase the drive, and format as GUID journaled volume.

Sorry for this basic question, but I am a new mac user (mba late 2010) and am still learning the OS needs and such. I see a number of anti virus, etc software options advertised. have been told by other mac users not necessary. I would appreciate any thoughts. Again sorry about the base question but need to learn from you pros.
Thanks.
Thanks.

With your clip on the timeline, double click it to load it in the browser. Open the "motion" tab in the browser. There's the controls for zooming in and out of the clip and keyframing that action. Turn on wireframes for your clip in the viewer (view -> image+wireframe).
Thank you very much!

You're right, FastMac doesn't make them anymore. I can't find any site online that carries them, even eBay.

I wonder how they got to that screen on the Verizon iPhone? I can't find it anywhere on mine. Not that it is a huge deal, just wondered how they got to that screen?

DDC is a derivative of I2C and Macs have a I2C bus. The motion sensor is connected to the I2C bus, for example.

Question #2. I want to upgrade the hard drive right away. Is there any way that I can copy the OS over to the new hard drive since I don't have any instalation CDs?
2. There's tools for OS X that will do this (e.g. superduper) but I don't know about OS9.
OS 9 doesn't need any steenking tools, mon! Hook your new drive up on the internal bus (or pop it into an external FireWire cradle i fyou have one); boot from OS 9 from your existing HD, and use OS 9's utility Drive Setup to format and initialize your new drive, and partition it if you wish to partition. Then drag-copy the System Folder to the new drive. Go to the Startup Disk Control Panel and pick the copy of the OS on the new drive and reboot to make sure it worked / is "blessed" / etc.
Repeat the drag-copy process for all your MacOS 9 applications (which may or may not be confined to an "Applications (OS 9)" folder, btw).
Done.
For OS X, you need software to copy the OS over, due to permissions and an invisible file or two. I acquired Retrospect Express as a toss-in freebie when I bought an external FW drive to use for backup, and I'll vouch for it. Others already mentioned on this thread are probably also solid and many of them are free (Retro Ex costs at least a nominal buck or two).

Come on Down Folks and join US.
Apple iPad 3G Lauch Today at 5pm
Glad to see others are getting out early. I am first at the frisco, tx store. Got in 45 minutes before the mall opened because i was outside and it was raining and one of the security guys let me in. The manager in the apple store was already there and waved. Honestly i thought there would be a ton more people here
