I have a 3GS currently and if I upgraded to the 4, the is one feature that I will hate myself for not waiting would probably be a better camera (or maybe just a faster phone in general to be honest)

Hi,
Thanks for this. I finished downloading the 4.0.2 update from the App Store and launched Xcode and it still claimed to be running version 4.0. Didn't know what was going on there!
Hmm.. same here, downloaded from the App Store, installed, checked the "About Xcode" --> XCode Version 4.0 Build 4A304a
Anyone have the same issue?

Hey,
I'm looking for an online Gallery which lets me using Picassa.
I have been doing some searching but i'm unable to find one that actaully works.
I'm currently using lightbox here. (http://hampshiredoeyouthforum.uphero.com/Gallery.html) But we are after a way of uploading images quicker, and also from mobiles etc.
Picassa it's self doesn't offer any GOOD service of presenting your images on your website.
thanks guys

But the real deal breaker for me was the lack of a physical pause button. I don't want to have to grab the nano, turn it on, aim for the pause button, before I can hear the outside world.
You could buy an inline remote if that was your only problem - I use this with my iPod Touch: http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/headphone-control-adapter
I think that should work with the nano too.

I never bothered to update my iPhone 3G to iOS4. I thought it would slow it down. Yesterday, I picked up my iPhone 4 from the Apple Store. iOS4 is great on the iPhone 4. But my iPhone 3G still hasn't been upgraded and I don't think I'll ever update it to iOS4. I'm afraid it will slow it down.
I installed iOS4 on my 3G right away and it was great. Definitely not slower in any way, and I still got to use all of the new features besides multitasking and orientation lock. I did get an iPhone 4, but my sister is using the 3G with iOS4 every day and neither of us have noticed any problems.

I'm glad that it's available again for Mac OS X. It looks as if it might be a wait for the developer and foundation versions, though.
With all the mess on Windows, there may be more dedicated Borland developers trying Mac OS X.

The online store says the pre-orders on the Macbook Air will be shipped in two to three weeks, but I don't see anything mentioning when they'll actually be in the physical stores. I'd really like to see one.

3) Most MacOS X programs do not fully exit when you close them, which allows them to "re-open" much faster.
the old argument where pc users say that it's stupid for the application to stay open is weird.
I find on a PC when there are half a dozen IE windows open (no tabs) you close windows with the X or ctrl - w, the app stays open until the last window, so straight away there is inconsistency. You have to keep track of how many or at least leave one open if you don't want to quit. (perhaps a poor example if you think how embedded ie is. eek)
If you want to quit, you have to choose quit or close all windows. Why not just use quit for quit and close window for closing app windows.
So I think the switch is not learning, so much as unlearning. :)

The 27 is amazing. I got one about a month ago. The only thing is it spoils you. I used a 21 at work and it feels so small.

I am assuming that you are ripping the tracks as MP3 format files. The pause between tracks is a result of MP3's file structure, and it is impossible to have gapless playback with MP3's. It's not just iTune/iPods, no MP3 device or player will do gapless MP3 playback (if they do, it's a crossfading type trick). You should try re-ripping the CD in AAC or another format that supports gapless playback.

Actually, what I meant was that I need the script for a javascript puzzle generator that will work in Safari. I appreciate the answer though!

What kind of RAM is it?
Do you mean where did I buy it from?
If so, it was from 1-800-4-Memory. And I just went to their site to make sure that is the site I bought it from and they sell it new for $75 now.....so I am lowering the price to $65 shipped.

He's probably rich.
He probably became rich because he doesn't spend on clothes and expensive backpacks. I am digging the green bag.

the Switcheasy NeoTouch puts your iPod at around the thickness of an iPhone 3Gs. not super slim, but pretty decent (slimmer than both the Rebel or the Torrent). i can attest to its quality and protection! otherwise check out their Nude.

A 2x Teleconverter with only one exception will (a) generally suck in terms of image quality and (b) be generally useless on a lens that doesn't have an aperture of f/2.8 or wider. Your lens is f/5.6 at the long end, so that's a non-starter.
The one exception is the newest Nikon TC-20E-III, which has the best image quality of any 2x TC ever made by a large margin. It still wouldn't help with the light loss though. You lose two stops of light with a 2x TC- that would put your lens at f/11- no autofocus there for sure.
The Sigma 50-500mm lens is about the cheapest way to get more distance in a zoom, but it's also going to need a lot of light when zoomed all the way.

I love mine too! It's really almost perfect. I'm afraid though that they will mess it up this fall. I've seen the camera version mockup and rumors and I think that is just stupid. I have the 16GB one and I have hundreds of songs in it and it still has a third to go on storage.. I can play it almost a week before I repeat a song. A 32 GB version would be nice but it is really unneeded. I'm hoping they don't ruin it.

how can you explain the sentence "keep what you have"
its pretty self explanatory.
Just keep your machine, or drop it off a building and before you do that if you have 1GB RAM chips and you can just give me your video card for free.
